DATA SUBJECT INFORMATION NOTICE REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

a) Data Controller and Representative

EHSİM Elektronik Harp Sistemleri Mühendislik Ticaret AŞ (“EHSİM” or the “Company”), as the data controller, pays utmost attention to ensuring that your personal data is processed and protected lawfully in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”). In this context, the personal data of all natural persons associated with EHSİM is processed, stored, and, upon expiration of the retention period, destroyed in compliance with the Law.

b) Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your collected personal data may be processed for the following purposes within the scope of the conditions set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law:

  • Execution of human resources processes (recruitment, personnel management, internships, training, and performance evaluations),
  • Fulfillment of occupational health and safety obligations,
  • Ensuring corporate organizational processes (access control, task assignments, travel arrangements, asset allocation, etc.),
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations and regulatory compliance,
  • Management of contractual and commercial relationships (including supplier and customer relations),
  • Provision of required notifications and reports within the scope of defense industry, R&D, and government-supported projects,
  • Ensuring physical premises security and maintaining visitor records,
  • Conducting corporate promotional activities (including participation in fairs, event organization, photography, and video recordings).

c) Recipients and Purpose of Personal Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred, within the framework of Article 8 of the Law and for the purposes listed above, to:

  • Authorized public institutions and organizations,
  • Suppliers and business partners providing services under contractual relationships,
  • Audit and certification service providers,
  • Judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies to fulfill legal obligations,
  • Regulatory authorities within the scope of public incentives, project supports, and defense industry practices.

All such transfers shall occur only within the territory of the Republic of Türkiye.

ç) Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through physical means (forms, documents, camera recordings, manual archives) and electronic means (e-mail, software, servers, KEP, databases, etc.) via automatic or non-automatic methods. Processing is carried out based on the conditions specified in the Law and in accordance with relevant legislation.

d) Rights of the Data Subject under Article 11 of the Law

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • To request information regarding such processing,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred within Türkiye,
  • To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
  • To request deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons for processing cease to exist,
  • To request notification of the actions performed regarding correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties,
  • To object to adverse outcomes resulting from automated processing exclusively,
  • To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

e) Retention Period of Personal Data

Personal data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes of processing and in line with relevant legislation. Upon expiration of the retention period or elimination of the processing purpose, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized either ex officio or upon request. Retention periods are explicitly stated in the Company’s VERBIS registration.
